Mena’s Data Portfolio

Excel Data Analysis Project – Global Bike Financial Analysis

In this project, I cleaned the given data to remove duplicate and null values and organize the data for analysis. Next, I used formulas to calculate financial values across sheets:

The data flows into the trial balance, which tests the accuracy of values by balancing debits (left) with credits (right).

VLOOKUP served to reference data values across sheets, such as adding adjusting entries to the existing balance for a total in the trial balance. IF chose between debits and credits by checking the value, so debit totals included only debits, for example. Everything balances!

The story this data tells is of a bike manufacturer in good financial health. Global Bike can easily pay short-term responsibilities since it has plenty of cash, $125,972, by month-end and accounts receivable, $471,436.

Inventory management looks great with correct categories and valuation–they have the necessary materials to keep up with demand.

There is a stable financial structure. Global has $1,000,000 in common stock and keeps accumulating profits with $663,303 in retained earnings. The future looks bright for Global Bike.
